Christmas as we know is such a stressful time of the year, it’s when it takes two hours to get a carpark, feeling like sardines in the shopping centres and rushing to get the best toys before they all disappear and sometimes peoples frustrations can be taken out on the workers. Working in retail at this time of the year is such a fun but also a very daunting time as customers can become very intimidating when they don’t get what they want.
The last few years I have put so much pride into my wrapping and you may say “but everyone just rips the presents open” I don’t care I like the presents looking nice and pretty under the tree! Now I am no way an amazing gift wrapper but I do like to think that I do a nice job and this year I am so happy with how my theme is.
Christmas is full of junk food which leads to breakouts because the skin can’t handle a lot of junk all at once, but you don’t need to decide between the two when you have a good skincare regime. Today I am going to share with you my current skincare routine that I am using throughout the christmas period.
One of my favourite things to do in the lead up to christmas is to go christmas light looking and this yeas was no let down! I feel like this year everyone is getting back into the christmas spirit after a few years off and they have come back full force and I couldn’t be happier about it. If I was able to I would decorate my house but mum and dad won’t let me haha.
Last year on Christmas Eve I had to work and that’s never fun and especially when you work in retail so to make it fun I dressed up as a reindeer to entertain myself, my coworkers and of course the customers. This year I am not sure if I am working but I thought I would share last years look here and point out what I will change and today over on my Instagram at around 6pm there will be a recreation of it!
Following yesterdays post that covered how I deal with food anxiety, I thought today would be great to put up a food recipe ha. Todays post is in collaboration with the amazing Sam from shewritesaboutit and when she asked if I wanted to do a collaboration and I was so excited, so today I am bringing you the recipe of a no bake peppermint and white chocolate cheesecake!
Today’s post is a little more personal than any of the other posts I have and will publish but I find it very important to talk about because more people are suffering than you know. This post is about how I go into terrible anxiety around the massive amounts of Christmas food and why this happens to me.
